Sizzle Reel 2026
Every time I am holding my camera I’m suffering in some way.
If something is worth doing its worth doing the right way and I am proud to showcase my way of seeing the world.
From the silt beds of Baja to the intensity Michelin star kitchens and everywhere in between; blood, sweat, and tears are what all these shots and projects have in common.
The 2024 Mint 400
A long form cinematic highlights film built from a collaboration between some of the best shooters in off-road motorsports during the 2024 Mint 400. This piece was designed to push desert racing media beyond traditional event coverage and into true cinematic filmmaking.
The Jimco “Fastball” AWD Trophy Truck Reveal
Built around the reveal of Bobby Patton’s $1.5 million AWD Jimco Trophy Truck, this project set out to challenge the standard for motorsports launch films. Rather than treating the reveal as a routine livery announcement, the goal was to create a piece with the scale, atmosphere, and cinematic weight the build deserved.
Filmed inside Dodger Stadium an unprecedented setting for a Trophy Truck reveal. The production combined high end cinematography, large scale production coordination, and dramatic visual storytelling to create something uniquely ambitious within off-road racing media. This project represents what can happen when both the client and creative team are willing to push beyond convention in pursuit of something unforgettable.
Jim Beavers Kawasaki “Elektra” Livery Reveal
This project centered around the build reveal of Jim Beaver’s custom Kawasaki UTV, a vehicle intentionally designed to break convention and command attention. From the aggressive styling and neon livery to the detailed fabrication work, every element of the build pushed beyond the traditional expectations of UTV culture.
Filmed inside an abandoned warehouse in Parker, Arizona, the piece leaned heavily into visual contrast and atmosphere. The vibrant colors and polished surfaces of the vehicle against the raw, deteriorated environment created a striking cinematic juxtaposition that gave the piece its identity. We wanted create a launch piece that matched the ambition and individuality of the build itself.
From Dirt to Driveway with Larry Roeseler
This commercial and product launch project for Vision Wheel was built around the idea that racing is the ultimate proving ground for innovation. Featuring off road legend Larry Roeseler behind the wheel, the project connected Vision Wheel’s deep roots in professional racing to the technology and performance being brought into the consumer market.
Fox RAD: Proving
This project for FOX focused on one of the core truths of off-road racing: competition is the ultimate proving ground for innovation. Long before suspension technology reaches the consumer market, it is tested in the harshest environments imaginable
FOX operates at the highest level of off-road racing, where every component is tested under extreme conditions. That experience helps push suspension technology forward, with lessons learned in competition carrying into vehicles across the broader automotive industry. Their work matters not only because it helps racers perform, but because it continues to raise the standard for durability, control, and capability everywhere.
Big Ideas,
Real Impact
This Project documented the formation of the MagnaFlow x Camburg racing program a collaboration that instantly reshaped the competitive landscape of Trophy Truck racing. By combining Camburg’s suspension engineering and race-proven fabrication with MagnaFlow’s manufacturing capabilities and performance expertise, the partnership created one of the most technically advanced and dominant teams currently competing in off-road motorsports.
Centered around driver Kyle Jergensen and the unveiling of the new program, the piece aimed to communicate more than just a team announcement it was about capturing the momentum, innovation, and chemistry that occurs when elite engineering, elite driving, and elite ambition align at the same time. It was my job to help create a piece that reflected both the impact of the partnership and the intensity of modern Trophy Truck racing.
Big Ideas,
Real Impact
This installment of the Road to The Mint series focused on Cayden MacCachren one of the top UTV racers in the world and son of Rob MacCachren the widely disputed goat of off road racing. The series was designed to explore the mindset, history, and race craft of elite drivers leading into The Mint 400, blending cinematic visuals with documentary style storytelling to build deeper connection around the athletes competing in the sport.
Ford Raptor Ranger Shakedown
When Ford handed us the keys to the new Ranger Raptor, the goal was never to create a traditional review, it was to understand where the platform fit within the larger legacy of Ford off-road performance. Filmed across the open desert landscapes of Ocotillo Wells, the project combined cinematic storytelling with real world testing to explore how decades of racing development influence modern off-road vehicles.
Off-Road Racer Podcast: Sal Fish
Filmed during Baja 500 race week in Ensenada, this podcast featured Sal Fish widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of off-road racing and the longtime leader behind SCORE International and the Baja 1000. Having played a foundational role in shaping modern desert racing from its earliest years through its rise into a globally recognized motorsport, Sal’s perspective represents decades of history, innovation, and firsthand experience within the sport.
Beyond simply documenting a conversation, the project aimed to capture the atmosphere and cultural significance surrounding Baja racing itself. Set against the energy of race week in Ensenada, helping create a podcast that felt authentic to both the legacy of Sal Fish and the spirit of Baja.
Matsu - Modern Japanese Cuisine
Created as a introduction to Matsu and Chef William Eick’s culinary philosophy, this piece blended high end food cinematography with atmospheric storytelling to capture the identity of one of Oceanside’s most respected dining experiences. Inspired by Japanese minimalism and rooted in Southern California’s seasonal ingredients, Matsu represents a balance between tradition, locality, and personal expression.
The production emphasized texture, detail, light, and pacing to reflect the precision behind both the cuisine and the restaurant itself. Rather than approaching the project as a standard promotional piece, the goal was to create something that felt emotionally aligned with the experience of dining at Matsu — quiet, intentional, elegant, and deeply crafted.
Matsu X Atelier Crenn
This project documented Chef Dominique Crenn’s collaboration dinner at Matsu a rare culinary event that brought one of the world’s most celebrated chefs into the heart of Oceanside for a single night of highly detailed, world class dining. Featuring dishes from both Chef Crenn’s team and Chef William Eick’s kitchen, the evening represented a convergence of Michelin level artistry, precision, and creativity rarely seen within Southern California’s emerging culinary scene.
Behind the scenes, the environment was controlled chaos: an intensely dark restaurant, relentless pacing, and an enormous number of moving parts all unfolding simultaneously. My goal was to translate that pressure and energy into something visually elegant and emotionally immersive slowing down fleeting moments of craftsmanship and transforming the intensity of service into cinematic storytelling. The piece ultimately became one of the clearest reflections of my ability to operate creatively inside high pressure environments where precision, adaptability, and instinct matter most.
Oceanside Sunset Market with Chef Roddy Browning
This piece followed Chef Roger “Roddy” Browning of Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen through the Oceanside Sunset Market, one of the most vibrant representations of Southern California’s local food culture. Bringing together chefs, farmers, food vendors, artists, and small businesses from across the region, the market reflects the diversity, creativity, and community that continue to define Oceanside’s growing culinary identity.
The project aligned closely with my broader goal of helping elevate the Oceanside and San Diego food scene through cinematic storytelling rooted in authenticity and local culture. The goal was to create a piece that felt energetic, warm, and community driven while capturing the atmosphere, flavors, and personalities that make the Sunset Market such a unique part of the city.
Big Ideas,
Real Impact
This cooking demonstration with Chef Roger “Roddy” Browning focused on preparing Brant Beef tri tip over a traditional Santa Maria grill. Inspired by classic cooking television and chef driven food media, the project was designed to feel approachable and instructional while still maintaining a elevated visual style rooted in Southern California culinary culture.
Centered around techniques like oak fire grilling, smoke control, and the preparation of a California style chimichurri, the film highlighted both the craftsmanship behind live fire cooking and the quality of locally sourced ingredients. The goal was to create a piece that highlighted practical cooking education with rich atmospheric visuals, reflecting the warmth, authenticity, and personality that makes local chef driven food storytelling so compelling.
Big Ideas,
Real Impact
This film documented one of The Plot’s signature Plantscape dinners, an immersive outdoor dining experience held directly inside the restaurant’s on site garden in Oceanside. Built around hyper local, seasonal ingredients harvested just steps away from the kitchen, the event represented everything that makes Southern California food culture so special: freshness, sustainability, creativity, and a deep connection between agriculture and cuisine.
Guests were seated among the garden while chefs cooked over open flame in front of them, creating a constantly evolving environment filled with movement, texture, smoke, and detail. We wanted to create a piece that captured not only the food, but the sensory experience and philosophy behind Plantscape, a celebration of zero waste cooking, hyper local ingredients, and plant-based dining.
Visit Oceanside: Swell Plate Series
Swell Plates was a city wide culinary campaign created in partnership with Visit Oceanside to celebrate the restaurants, ingredients, and personalities shaping Oceanside’s growing food culture. The series brought together some of the city’s top chefs and restaurants, each creating a dish that represented their interpretation of Southern California coastal cuisine and the identity of Oceanside itself.
Beyond documenting food, the larger goal of the project was to elevate Oceanside’s culinary scene and highlight what makes the region special from locally sourced ingredients and diverse culinary influences to the people helping define the next generation of Southern California food culture.
Swell Plate: Bananna Peel Torta
This installment of the Swell Plates series highlighted the collaboration between The Plot, Jason Mraz’s family farm, and Jitters Coffee Pub. Centered around a zero waste Banana Peel Torta made with ingredients sourced directly from North County farms and repurposed coffee byproducts, the project showcased how creativity and environmental consciousness can shape modern cuisine.
The Plot’s hyper local and sustainability driven philosophy, Jason Mraz’s organic farming operation, and Jitters’ specialty coffee culture all represented different facets of Oceanside and North County’s evolving culinary identity. I wanted help capture not only the food itself, but the larger ecosystem of local agriculture, craftsmanship, and community that made the story meaningful.
